Today is the day before Christmas Eve. One might call it Christmas Eve Eve. Grandma is busy wrapping boxes with colorful paper whilst Grandad is taking my dictation. Together they await the celebration of Christmas, the birthday of one Jesus of Nazareth, a Hellenistic Palestinian Jew of the first Century whose witness changed Western Civilization whilst profoundly affecting most world cultures. Not bad for someone with no blog!
This strikes me as odd. Anyone can be born. Why celebrate this? Note to self: Humans dwell in family units. Perhaps the role of relationship is important here. More later.
Roe the cat will write tomorrow's blog. Write, if he can, that is! Take, that, feline!
Hey Neko!!!
ReplyDeleteMommy and Daddy really miss you and your big sister. Make sure to thank Grandma & Grandad for taking your dictations and being with you guys while we are out of town. We've tried to call and check in with you guys, but have so far been missing you, we will try again tomorrow morning (and maybe tonight). We hope you are having fun, and not getting spoiled too much. We love and miss you very much.
Merry Christmas, and have fun!
